Terms of Service

In short: use Maintainly to track your own upkeep, keep your sign-in secure, and remember that maintenance intervals in the app are general guidelines. Your equipment's manual and a qualified professional come first.

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and JEFFRUP LLC ("we", "us"), which operates Maintainly at maintainly.jeffrup.com. By creating an account or using Maintainly, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The service

Maintainly helps you track maintenance for vehicles, appliances, tools and other things you own, keep a service log, estimate what upcoming maintenance may cost, and share locations with other people. We may add, change or remove features over time. Maintainly is currently offered free of charge; if we introduce paid features, we will tell you before you are charged anything.

Your account

• Use an email address you control, and keep your sign-in methods (email, password, Google account) secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Maintainly.

Your content

You own what you put into Maintainly. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service, including showing shared locations to the people you invite. Don't add anything you don't have the right to share.

Sharing locations

The owner of a location decides who can see or change it. Editors can add and change records; viewers can only look. Removing someone or deleting a location takes effect for everyone. Only invite people you trust with that information.

Recommendations and cost estimates are guidelines

Recommended schedules, reminders and estimates in Maintainly are general information only. They are not professional, mechanical, electrical or safety advice and may not fit your specific equipment, use or conditions. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and applicable safety rules, and use a qualified professional where appropriate. You are responsible for deciding when and how maintenance is done. Reminders depend on the information you enter and may be late, early or missing.

Cost estimates and budget figures are rough typical prices or are based on numbers you enter. They are not quotes, offers or financial advice, and actual prices vary by location, provider, parts and condition. Don't rely on them as the only basis for financial decisions.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Maintainly. For example, don't try to access other people's data without permission, interfere with or overload the service, reverse engineer it to get around security, use it to send spam, or use it for anything unlawful.

Ending your use

You can stop using Maintainly at any time and ask us to delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

Disclaimers

Maintainly is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost, so keep your own copy of anything important using Export data in Settings.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, JEFFRUP LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or property damage, arising from your use of Maintainly, including any maintenance done or not done based on the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to Maintainly is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above, and for significant changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Maintainly after changes take effect means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.
